LitWeekLA May 7 2018
Issue 88: Good morning lit lovers. Today is my birthday. Woo hoo! And I have a birthday request: help me spread the word about the LitWeekLA. Forward this email to one (two? ten?) friends. Don’t spam anyone. Just think for a second if you have any book-loving friends here in LA who might enjoy it as much as you do. And many thanks. I feel so loved.

Literary Events in Los Angeles for the week of April 2, 2018

Issue 83: Welcome to the newly redesigned LitWeekLA. Wait. Lit-WEEK, you ask? Yep. As of today, the name of our weekly broadcast is the LitWeekLA. We also have an updated look and our own url. As much as I loved having this baby under the umbrella of my own website at AprilDavila.com, it was time to give it its own home on the web. I hope you like it.

As for this week, we’ve got a pretty well-rounded line up. There’s a little something most nights, and this weekend has some interesting events. On Friday there’s a PEN celebration at Skylight Books followed by some student readings on Sunday. Also on Sunday, Beyond Baroque is hosting a tribute to Charles Bukowski. All us LA lit lovers gotta respect the Bukowski.
